Tartu: 2024 European Capital of Culture

Every year, the European Union awards the “Capital of Culture” title to two or three cities, giving them the opportunity to showcase their culture. Estonia’s second largest city, Tartu, will get the honor in 2024 to display its history and values to the rest of Europe.

Reporter Mackenzie Daly looks at what will go into the year-long celebration and explores Tartu’s street art scene.
